Project Proposal
Recommendations and a custom proposal will be provided based on your vision and ideal budget. Ready to get started? To reserve your event date on our design calendar, a 50% deposit is requested that will be applied to your final designs.

Let’s collaborate together!
To ensure we stay on track and organized to meet your desired mailing date, a timeline for each design stage will be provided. Additionally, a personalized mood board will be shared that will include design concepts, color palette options and style ideas.

01 / is all calligraphy hand-written?
Yes! Our work includes hand-written calligraphy, illustrations and watercolor paintings by Kara Anne.
02 / What is the average investment for custom invitations?
Since our work is highly customized with so many possibilities, pricing will greatly vary dependng on the quantity, complexity, printing techniques, papers, extra embellishments, etc. To receive a full custom quote, please submit an inqury with a few details and project requirments to recieve recommendations and a starting quote that best fits your ideal budget. 03 / When should I reserve my event date and how long does the custom process take?
It is never too early to reserve your event date and begin the collaboration process! To enjoy the full custom paper experience, we recommend booking a minimum of 5 months prior to your desired mailing for custom invitations and hand addressed envelopes. For all "day-of" items such as menus, place cards, seating charts, signage, and more, please book your event minimum of 2 months prior.
We will work to accoommodate alternate deadlines, but please note a rush fee may apply to certain projects. Due to the custom nature of all the beauty we create, we take a limited amount of projects each year in order to fully invest our attetnion into each and every luxe detail.
04 / When will I receive digital design proof options?
Because no two celebrations and paper suites are alike, Kara Anne Paper will provide each client with a detailed customized timeline based off their ideal mailing date. The timeline is individually created for each client and incorporates design and production turnaround time, so that clients can follow the progress of their project.
05 / What printing techniques are offered?

06 / When should I book the "Day-Of" design items?
With a limited amount of "day-of design" bookings each month, we recommend reserving your event date as soon as possible to allow plenty of time for the collaboration and creative process. Design concepts will be explored approx. 2-3 months prior to the event date.
07 / Do you work with international clients?
Yes! We work with event planners and clients world-wide. For all international orders, we recommend allowing extra time to accommodate for overseas shipping.
08 / Do you offer full assembly and mailing services?
Yes! Sit back, relax and allow our team to handle the full invitation assembly and mailing process. If you are interested in this optional service, please requests details.
